NAME: David Cerreduela

PLACE OF BIRTH: Madrid, 1971

FAMILY: Son of the great guitarist El Nani.

CAREER: David, famous guitarist of Caño Roto-one of the cradles of flamenco guitar in Madrid-, son of the famous guitarist El Nani and grandson of a guitar maker, fact that explains his earliness in the stages.

At the age of 14 he started his professional career accompanying Lola Flores and Merche Esmeralda.

Later on, he become part of Antonio Canales’s company in the plays Torero or Gitano, play in which he is the author of most of the music. He also accompanied the touch in the company with the shows Cuerda y Tacón and Bernarda Alba.

Later on, he worked with Juan de Juan in the play Pueblos, being author of the musical part.

He has played for Guadiana, Ramón El Portugués, El Yunque, among others.

He has also collaborated in several recordings as for example the one of Enrique Heredia El Negri entitled The last kiss, the one of Guadiana, Los Chorbos…etc.

Besides playing for the most famous flamencos he has performed with Enrique Morente for years and has been guitarists in the National Ballet in Spain. He has collaborated also in records of singers such as Diego El Cigala, Manolo Tena, Guadiana or Antonio Carmona.

The guitar of David Cerreduela is a fundamental part in the cast of the tablao El Cordobes in Barcelona.
